Keith Lloyd was born in 1932 and lived in West Silvertown, in Cranbrook Road, for 24 years apart from periods of evacuation and National Service and a short period of six months when the family moved to Barnwood Road. He finally moved to Stratford in 1956 and now lives in Ilford in Essex.

This collection of short stories* is a unique record of family life in West Silvertown in earl;ier years and we are very pleased to make them available for the present residents of the area, and other users of the site, as a very personal record of life in the area in former times.
