Stop Press: New Village Hall Team
A new team is aiming to get Britannia Village Hall buzzing with activities for everyone in our community.
Centre manager David Mann and site supervisor Brian Elgood start work on 25th March.
“With its position opposite the school and across from the village green, I’d like the village hall to be right at the heart of our community life,” said David Mannn. “There is great potential here and I want to work with local people to provide the sort of activities that they want and our community needs.” |

Activities for all!
Since May 2007 the Foundation has owned and run the Britannia Village Hall in Evelyn Road. Already there is a wide range of activities throughout the week.
Everyday there are activities for young children and mums and the Bridges Project has something for everyone. And on Tuesdays there is are evening sessions in Kickboxing with Circuit Training on Wednesday evenings and Pilates on Saturday mornings. There is also after school football with a professional coach run by Community Links on Thursdays.

Early Start's Royal Victoria Dock Team also run sessions in Britannia Village Hall with a range of services to give all children under five access to tailored children's services, including health, education and family support. Rooms for Hire
There are three rooms available for hire:
- The Main Hall - a large hall which can accommodate 200 people
- The Evelyn Suite - a very good meeting room for use by up to 40 people.
- The Britannia Room - an office sized room for meetings of up to six people

How to Find us
Rail: the nearest station is West Silvertown on the King George V line of the Docklands Light Railway. This is easily accessed from the London Underground's Jubilee Line at Cannng Town.
Bus: the 474 Bus runs along North Woolwich Road nearby - alight at West Silvertown Station.
Car: from North Woolwich Road drive via Mill Road or Britannia Gate into Wesley Avenue and thence into Audley Drive. The Hall has it's own car park right outside the building at the end of Audley Drive. There are also parking bays in Evelyn Road adjacent.
